"We had an amazing holiday, the chalet is great, and is the most comfortable place we have stayed in on holiday. The location was breath taking. We were blessed with glorious sunshine until the last couple of days. We had dinner twice at Hotel Les Spains and the food and staff were excellent. We will definitly be coming back to stay at chalet du lac.

Everyone was catered for, with the Ardent lift a short bus ride away or a quick drive into Morzine or Les Gets. We had a fantastic time in the Chalet and it was ideal for catching the bus either to Ardent or Morzine. The area around the lake looked beautiful even with the amount of snow we had! The chalet was very well equipped and we certainly made use of the vast array of DVDs! We did eat at Les Sapins on one occasion and they were very welcoming and the food was excellent. The location and the chalet were excellent and we will certainly be recommending it! Hopefully we can return as we feel we now have the winter holiday bug!! - we also would like to perhaps visit one summer!!

We have just returned from our wonderful week in Chalet du Lac and wanted to say a huge thank you.The whole family had a fantastic time and loved not only your chalet but also the resort (skiing in France was a first for my Swiss Dad and he loved it!). The remoteness of the chalet and the chalet itself were perfect for our family ski trip and a very relaxing environment. We were very lucky with the weather and had sunshine for most of the week. We also had a lovely fondue for my Dad's birthday at Les Sapins which was delicious! We will definitely recommend the chalet and hope to return soon!

"We had a great time in the Chalet and in Morzine, the kids loved the summer mountain activities, rafting, canoeing, para-sailing, summer
sledges..... etc. A real change from lying by a pool in the med. I personally loved the view of the lake in the early morning, when we had it to ourselves, even encouraged me to go jogging for the first time in years. Never got to try your suggested restaurant but used Les Sapins threetimes during our stay and can only recommend the food there. Now the kids are nagging me to take them back in the winter for a skiing holiday, so may be in touch again.

"Just a quick note to say we had a great time in Lake Montriond, despite the non-stop rain for the last 2 days! I'm missing my morning run of two laps around the lake before breakfast. As well as enjoying some excellent walks we made it to Annecy and Chamonix twice, the highlight of the holiday being the cable car trip over the glacier to Hellbronner. We also thought Evian was a very nice place to visit and the trip to Lausanne on the steam paddle boat excellent. "We had an absolutely wonderful two weeks. During our middle saturday there were fireworks over the lake which proceeded to a display that would have put anyone to shame - including half a dozen paragliders who came over the cliff and landed exactly on the same spot on the lake shore (apart from one who was dropped from a tandem flight and proceeded to free-fall to about 100 metres above the lake before opening a parachute). They certainly know how to lay on a night out in France...
Never having been to the area before, or knowing about Morzine, this was the most wonderful place for either a relaxing or an active holiday as we have even been."
